The Jefferson Community Foundation was founded in 1999 to receive donations of cash or property, and to administer those assets for the educational, cultural and charitable benefit of the citizens in the Jefferson Wisconsin area. Our bylaws define the "Jefferson Wisconsin area" as the Jefferson School District.
The Foundation is a public charity organized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. This means your donation will qualify for the maximum deductibility for income tax and estate tax purposes.
The Foundation is managed by a nine-person Board of Directors. All serve without compensation.
